Services

The SMILE (Science and Math Informal Learning Educators) Pathway is a branch of the National Science Digital Library, an expertly curated catalog of freely available online science education resources.

For SMILE we developed a Drupal website in order to take advantage of Drupal's readily available community features, and it's extensibility to add custom features such as a suite of modules we created to interface with our external library cataloging application. We also developed a JavaScript based embeddable widget and implemented a webservice API to make SMILE content available for use by other sites.

SMILE was designed and developed at the Lawrence Hall of Science.
